I love working with all different types of students from a variety of backgrounds. Through teaching and tutoring English, I often learn about my students' language and culture as well. A Little Bit About Me...

I am very interested in languages, math, and science. In December of 2007, I received my B.A. in Spanish. Soon after I moved to Costa Rica for a little over a year. I took a course and received the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). I taught EFL (English as a foreign language) there for a year and I also taught in Germany for 3 months. Currently, I have been teaching ESL (English as a second language) for over year at Gaston College. I also used to tutor math and reading skills in high school. A Little Bit About Me...

At St. Andrews Presbyterian College, I enjoyed helping fellow classmates write essays and found that my skills in English were immensely useful in all classes. I took a job working at the school library and was paid to help students with research and writing. Last year, I finished my first screenplay entitled "For Sale by Owner", a thesis, and my original TV pilot, which I helped produce at the school. It was wonderful to work alongside my Film, English and Honors professors to help other students shine in their own writing talents.
