I look for students to build their own answers through logical and intuitive reasoning based on my feedback. If the student truly struggles, I basically breakdown the subject matter into blocks and demonstrate it in a logical fashion. Most of the time, I believe the student needs to learn how to learn. The subject matter is rarely the issue, just the least it mechanisms.
I am fluent in both French and English. I hold a bachelor's degree in economics and finance from Union University 2002 and an MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic University 2012. I have coached and tutored students athletes and regular students in high school and college. I work through building a system of excellence in learning that fits the individual.

After graduating with a mathematics undergraduate degree in 1998, I have continued to study all areas of mathematics for the last 12 years. I have passed numerous actuarial exams that cover advanced mathematic topics as well as becoming a charterholder in the CFA Institute in 2009. I would love the opportunity to pass on my enjoyment of mathematics to others. I tutored extensively during my college years and feel I have a lot to offer the students of today.
I enjoy teaching and working with all children. I grew up as a teacher's son and now I am a teacher's husband so I have experience exploring different methods to help children learn. A Little Bit About Me...

During the past 5 years I have been a substitute teacher for Kentwood Public Schools and Excel Charter School in both elementary and high school classes. This experience has given me insight into what I feel is necessary for students to prepare for the future i.e college, skilled labor, technology etc. I have administered tests to evaluate pupil progress and issue reports to parents to discuss student progress and any problems that may exist.
Students that I have tutored/mentored have become very successful in their life after graduation from H.S./College. I know that if a child can read, and understand what they read, they can be successful in life. That is my first priorty in the education of a student.
