While in high school, I was a certified adult literacy tutor. Since I've had children, I have been an active volunteer in their classes - preschool through elementary school. I hold a BS from PSU in Finance with a minor in Economics. I earned my MBA while working full time in less than 2 years. In my last position, I was the training team lead for IT and policy for the Department of the Navy's financial card program. I have taught classes as small as 4-5 individuals to as large as 1200 students.
I love to teach and to see the students actually understanding the concept and putting the context into action. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently working on my doctoral disseration and adjunct teaching at ITT tech, University of Phoenix and MCann Business school. I teach a variety of business courses as well as math and english classes. Having a Masters degree in Finance and Accounting has allowed me to have a strong background in Math as well as business. In addition to teaching, I tutor students in Math and general studies.

My teaching style comes from 15 years of teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and being a Youth Group Leader as well. I have also been a server trainer at my current job at Cracker Barrel for 9 years. I am a very patient person and I treat others with respect. I love to help others learn and I explain things thoroughly which is the way that I tend to learn.
