A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching social studies in Cabarrus County for the past 12 years. I am nationally board certified and have my AP certification in World History. This summer I will be receiving my IB training and will begin teaching AP world history in the IB classroom. I am interested in tutoring specifically in world and AP world history, which I consider my speciality, but am proficient in all social studies classes and can help at any level. I am familiar with the set up and requirements of the AP World History exam and am willing to learn all there is to know about the other social studies AP exams in order to help a student succeed with them.

Geography is one of my top subjects!

A Little Bit About Me...

While some teachers favor a direct instruction approach, I try to tailor my instruction to the growing and diverse needs of each student. Some are more auditory learners than others, therefore, for those you would need a lot of teaching by rote, i.e "do as I do", so to speak.
