I like to use a mix of direct instruction and self-guided learning in my teaching. I use a variety of hands on manipulatives and I also like to get students up and moving around.
I am a recent graduate of the education program at Bowling Green State University and I have had a variety of experiences with children of all ages and abilities in and out of the classroom. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience with tutoring began in high school, when I started assisting elementary students with homework through one of my clubs. Throughout the two years I was involved, I regularly helped 6 students, along with 6 students that I met with irregularly. I have experience tutoring children with behavioral issues, learning disabilities (dyslexia, ADHD, ADD), as well as students on the Autism Spectrum. I have just graduated high school, and have just finished thirteen years of learning. I have ADD, and have had a semester's worth of interning at the Specialized Language Development Center, working with kids who struggle with reading, writing, and comprehension.
