A Little Bit About Me...

I taught 3 years in college--Freshman English, Grammar Basics, Composition, Speech, Literature, Business Communications. Taught over 15 years (English, Pre-Algebra, Science, History, Literature, Reading) at junior high and high school level. I was a Trainer and Communications Specialist in an industrial environment (17 years.) Trainer, U.S. Army Reserve, 2 years. In addition to my BA, I have over 100 graduate hours of continuing education in English, Education, Special Education, Reading, Technical Writing, and Popular Culture. I am currently an intervention specialist for students in grades 5-8, specializing in reading content and reading strategies.
