A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style embraces differences among learners to understand why they respond the way they do. As an instructor, I want to understand how members/groups learn and maintain the balance in the classroom. I provide learning through a variety of ways such as powerpoint presentations, lectures to supplement the weekly readings, provide additional resources to support the material. The most important benefit that I can offer my students is to be accessible to them at all times. Graduating with a 3.4 GPA in Mass Communications, I have always been creative in both design and writing. I have earned a dual BS in Mass Communications with the emaphasis being in both Public Relations and Journalism. I also have a minor in Spanish, a language in which I am fluent. I have excelled at English since highschool and have written many articles, essays, and website content. Most of my tutoring has been in Spanish, although I would like to branch out into writing/grammar as well.
My teaching styles vary depending on the student. I had one student who was an adult, moving to Ecuador for 2 years to work.
