Psychology is one of my top subjects! I hsve experience tutoring at Westfield State University as a psychology tutor in nine subjects including child development, adolescent development, Learning, behavioral modification (Applied Behavioral Analysis), Social psychology, health psychology, psychology of human sexuality, theories of personality and sensation and perception. I am part of the psi chi international honor society. Only tutors that got an A- or better could tutor in psychology. I graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in psychology and I am a very compassionate person willing to help research, write, find articles for projects, and help excel and study for exams.

I tutored in my last semester of college at Westfield State University. I have taken 122 credits in psychology. My psychology G.P.A. average is 3.74 and my overall average is 3.551. I have helped students excel at college-level classes where some students were failing. I am part of the international honor society in psychology. I love helping other people. Although I only have a bachelor's degree, I have helped many students at college excel at their classes and achieve A's when they were struggling.
I usually allow the person to come to me with questions and ask me what they are struggling on and help them from their or review the basic concepts and say them out loud to the person I am tutoring. I help students go through their books and synthesize material and help students write papers and come up with proper conclusions and introductions to his or her paper.

I always knew I wanted to work with children, and have taken various jobs in the educational field. I worked in a daycare center during college. I have also been a substitute teacher and worked a in summer school program for children with autism. I have a B.A. in psychology with a minor in sociology from UConn. I am presently persuing my M.A. in school counseling, and will be completing a full-time internship in a high school counseling department during the 2010-2011 school year. A Little Bit About Me...

I greatly enjoy finding a way to inspire a child to understand the problem at hand. Through from my experience in grade school and my observation of students that attend tough schools I've realized the monotonous class schedule and disciplinary philosophy of most schools deflates most student's desire to succeed.
