To give you some background, I graduated from Purdue University, Fort Wayne with a degree in biology and chemistry. I subsequently accepted a position with the Allen County Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist. In this position, I routinely inspect restaurants and markets in the Allen County Area. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my current position is the opportunity to utilize my science background and to educate the community on food-safety issues.

I taught 3 years of English for Ft. Wayne Community Schools to high school students in the Youth Life Skills program. I have had nearly 2,000 hours of anatomy course work as well as I've taken biology, chemistery, and pharmacology at Indiana-Purdue University of Ft Wayne.
