Learning "glitches", different learning styles, and a fear of being wrong often contribute to the problem. I try to discern how the student is thinking about the work, and then I use a variety of techniques to guide him/her to understanding. Math is life!

Two ways: One, where I guide the student giving little hints and trying to make them think through the problem themselves. Two, how I learn better, is by seeing the problem done and seeing how all the steps are carried out, and then doing a second, similar problem by oneself.
I love math, and I find so much excitement in making other people love math. I will be a senior in high school this upcoming year, and i will be taking Calculus 3. Since every subject in may builds upon the previous one, I think it s safe to say I have mastered almost everything from Algebra 1 to Calculus AB. Nothing makes me happier than having others understand math because of how I explained it.

I believe learning should be fun for both the student and the teacher. I am a vary laid back person and do not believe in putting extra presser on a student. Children learn better in a relaxed environment. I have always found it fulfilling to help a child gain an understanding of a difficult concept.
As a student athlete I understand the demands of both schoolwork and extracurricular activities.
