I think it is extremely important to understand different learning AND teaching styles. A teacher cannot present material in the same way every day. Some students can learn listening to a lecture. Some may prefer reading material. And yet others need more of a hands-on approach.
I have been either a student or a teacher for most of my life. I have experience in a wide variety of settings with a wide variety of students.
