I currently hold no experience with tutoring, but I am an Elementary Education major still pursuing my degree and would love to start teaching. I am a patient person, and I would prefer to work with children on Elementary subjects because it is specific to my major. I love working with children. I have taught Sunday School classes at various age levels. I believe that each child is different and learns in his/her own way on his/her own time-table; therefore, I work with each child differently depending on their needs. My teaching style is flexible. Students learn in different ways and at different paces. It is my job to discover how the students learn and what they respond best to. For some subjects, repetition is very important and for others a clearer understanding of the concepts involved is more valuable. I like to start with small skills and build on them. I have taught two years of middle school and home schooled my daughter. I have worked as a substitute teacher on and off for several years.
