I am a firm believer in teaching a student using hands-on experience. Each child has been given the intellect and imagination to successfully compose and write his or her thoughts into an established piece of literature. By using a students own experience his learning process is instilled and encouraged by not only the teacher but himself. As the student progresses and he practices more, his work advances with him. I really enjoy being around kids and helping them learn new things. When you teach a kid something and they finally get it, the sight of their face lighting up is priceless. I believe that one should teach using a variety of methods because all kids do not learn the same way and each individual method shows something new each time. I believe that all kids can learn so much if they work as hard as they can and put forth maximum effort. I think it is very easy to learn/teach using as many hands on examples as possible.

I am planning to enter medical school in the Fall of 2012 and as such have developed a strong foundation in the sciences throughout my undergraduate education.
