Life and destiny urged me to earn a teacher's certification in Texas, where I later worked as an ESL 4th-5th grade teacher in the Waco (Texas) Independent School District for three years. As a long-term adjunct instructor, I have successfully cultivated an effective set of best teaching practices relative to the English language and Communications. I make every conscious attempt to relate to my students as individuals and to meet their educational needs. Additionally, I exert much effort with students to impress upon them the importance of education in their lives and the fact that learning can be totally fun.
I find it rewarding to teach children and adults the necessary skills that allow them to obtain full English literacy. One of the greatest accomplishments in the course of the educational process is the acquisition of full, quality literacy; it is the foundation. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught either French or English, either in the classroom or as a private tutor, since 1989, when I was recruited as an undergraduate to teach Elementary French. For the next 5 years I taught all levels of French grammar and PhD readings, as well as first and second semester English Grammar and Composition courses while pursuing my MFA in Literary Translation (French and Spanish).
