I work with students of various backgrounds, aging from pre teen to retirement age, many with learning disabilities, many who are also ahead of their peers. I have a resource room and lesson plans for each group of students seperated by subject. I help them with Math, time management and note taking. I have been working for a local High School for 3 years now as an instructional assistant. Currently I have 3 math classes. I have 2 pre-algebra classes and one geometry. I basically help students mostly 1:6. I have 8 math students that I work with. This summer I also thought math for the students that have failed classes or that were skipping classes and needed to make up the credit. I have BA in English/American Literature. As I have just finished my Master's degree in Education at the University of Vermont, I spent the last school year in Montpelier high school working as a chemistry intern and tutoring students on an as needed basis.
