I have an unparalleled amount of patience.

My first teaching experience was in high school teaching at after school programs about basic economic principles that may apply to kids. That was my first time understanding that I have potential to assist others in grasping topics. In my college career, I found myself teaching people everything from music to proper uses of tense/grammar. It was there that i learned that you really only learn a small fraction of what you need to help you in life in the classroom. The rest must be learned on your own or with some one-on-one counseling. I was born in a french country where I studied in French for over 18 years, and I went to France to study for 1 year, and later I moved to the United States. My writing and speaking in both French and English are superior. I taught mathematics in my native country for 5 years, and I taught french at Spokane community college for the academic year of 2006-2007. I can teach mathematics and french.

My master's thesis was on auditory learning and the Theory of Multiple Intelligences. I believe every person can capitalize in learning if they know what type of learner they are. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of a Liberal Arts university in Virginia, I excelled in English, History, Law, and Foreign Languages. Writing thoroughly-researched and articulate essays were my speciality. For three years I tutored Spanish to struggling university students, and a further year was spent teaching English as a foreign language to Taiwanese students of all ages.
Teaching and tutoring are my passion. To see the light in student's eyes when they gain new understanding and/or work through a problem.
