Worked in the Greenwood Public School District from August 1996-January 2001. I tutored my collegues as a part of my high school and college studies.I consider myself to be well qualified because I graduated number One in my division from Rust College and attained many honors and join numerous honor organizations while obtaining my undergraduate degree. I love teaching and working with children, I believe all children can learn, but in different ways. Each child should be able to feel like they have academic success, even if it is not the same as other students. I believe students must do thier best and to get there they might learn it in a different way. I like to use real life to show way it is important to unerstand skills, and I give them 2 or 3 way to get the same answer. I am patient, loving, caring, and devoted. My goal is to help students reach their academic success. I've worked with children in many differnt areas of education and with children on many different levels. My focus was on children with disabilities and speech/language disorders. I've worked with children w/developmental delays and regular education children. I've also served as a tutor to children in my area w/learning disabilities. I have a BS in Speech Pathology w/a minor in Special education and I am currently working on my MS Ed in School Counseling. I will graduate from the Univ of Southern MS in May 2011. I've tutored children in English, Math, Science, and Reading. I absolutely love working with children of all ages. I love to see the end results from working one on one w/ a child at the end of a session. I am very patient, and a firm believer that every child can learn!
