When a student is positive and feels that sense of pride; he will open himself up more to the idea of learning. Secondly, I will always do readings and visuals to stimulate both areas of the brain to ensure it is absorbed. I started my teaching career at Northeast Texas Community College .I taught public speaking and Humanitities.After this Iworked in public schools teaching Drama and Speech in the UIL tourament cicuit. My students won many awards.In Florida I taught a semester at IndianRiver Community College.We moved to Melbourne and I taught Comm1 and 11and Speech and Drama at B.C.C, I worked there since 1998.
I enjoy working with all ages. I think learning should be a pleasant life long experience. I worked for Huntington learning centers as an English and Math tutor and as a math and english teacher at a private christian school for 6-12 grades where I also ran the performing arts program. I spent the first 8 years of my life in West Africa where I learned to speak French as well as English. I homeschooled, teaching all subjects 9-12th grade including History, Science, English, Math, French and electives.

I have many years of elementary reading tutoring experience. This started at a young age, as my mother was an elementary public school remedial reading teacher. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a private school, which left me with certain vacation times differing. Rather than getting a sitter and have me stay home my mother took me to her school with her to have me assist and help out with the students and their reading difficulties. This in turn at a young age made me enjoy helping others to learn.
