The early years of my experience were in the junior high setting. I taught sixth through ninth grade during this time, drawing heavily on my background strengths in theater, literature, grammar, creative writing, and my years as a legal secretary. I developed curriculum for the English department and was instrumental in launching an exploratory study system for alternative, creative learning. For the last twelve years, I have taught basic writing for the Salt Lake Community College and the University of Phoenix.
