I taught Nonfiction Writing, Composition and Professional Writing at the University of Pittsburgh for three years. My essays have been published in the New York Times and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, broadcast on National Public Radio, and anthologized in *Operation Homecoming* and in The Best of the New York Times "Modern Love" Column. My undergraduate degrees were in Studio Arts and English, with a minor in Art History and I encourage my students to incorporate multimedia in their work.
