I'm a very visual and verbal person. I like to explain things by writing/drawing them out, saying them out loud and creating analogies between things to help students better understand a concept. I believe the comparison between a concept and something the student can relate to allows for the student to comprehend what is being taught. I'm currently a high school tutor for the Socorro Independent School District. I currently tutor English 1-4 and social studies, economics and government. I'm very proficient in my job and do my best to make sure my students understand the concepts. Although I'm "fresh out of high school" I'm very advanced for my age, and currently a sophomore at the University of Texas at El Paso. I've been tutoring now for one academic year here at SISD.
