Set Realistic Goals and Rewards Create realistic, individual goals for all of your students. It's nice to have a classroom goal so students feel like they are working together, encouraging one another. However, it's more important to give each student an attainable goal that's personalized for their educational needs, such as completing homework assignments on time or checking over an assignment before they turn it in. A Little Bit About Me...

During my time at Hocking Technical College, I was taking alot of biology related classes such as Botany, Ohio Trees, Aquatic Ecology and many other related classes. I was a tutor for 1 year, teaching students about learining there trees by showing them out in the field and also teaching them latin names for these specific trees. I grew up in a big family. For me teaching began at home. The trick with teaching is to find a relationship between the students interests and with the assignment. The difficulty with learning for children today is their short attention spans. But by keeping the topics fresh, as well as fun, it peaks their interest. My younger sister is at the age where she hates school, so every assignment for her is difficult. She especially hates to read. So I proposed a race for her. We would both read the same book and after we both finished it we would watch the movie. She finished the book within a week.
