I have two different teaching styles depending on whether I am in a preschool setting or middle school type setting. If students need help with the math that is required for Chemistry, I know how to bring them up to speed. When students are willing to keep trying to learn, I will keep trying to help them. I have an Associate of Arts degree from Kemper plus a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Central Missouri State University and I am pursuing an Accounting degree. All of this has given a strong mathematical and scientific background in which I can tutor in courses such as statistics. I like to learn be examples which are real world examples. I am currently in my last year of undergraduate work in mathematics at UMKC. I have been an informal math tutor for numerous students in the last few years. Last semester I worked for the UMKC Physics department as a lab assistant for graduate students, and did physics tutoring. I have a strong knowledge in mathematics all the way up through differential equations, and advanced proofs techniques. I realize I do not yet have a plethora of experience, but helping fellow students with math has always been enjoyable and rewarding to me.
