My comments on tutoring Special Education : I have been a cross categorical classroom teacher for six years. I have experience with a variety of disabilities including Autism, ADHD, speech/language delay, cognitive delay, social/emotional disabilities, etc.

I have been a classroom teacher and a tutor for children, teens and adults who are deaf, hearing impaired, speech/language impaired, social/emotional impaired, cognitive delay, autistic, ADHD, etc. I have also taught early childhood children from birth. I can communicate using sign language and cued speech. I have experience teaching dyslexic children, teens and adults using the Orton-Gillingham philosophy. As a newlywed and young mother, I decided to pursue an education degree at the University of Florida. I maintained a 3.85 grade point average.
