I was never amazing in school, but I recently got my GED and passed with amazing scores!!! I'm phenomenal at English, spelling, writing and anything in that category!! I quite enjoy science. I was never too good at math, but I like it for the most part and I can do the basics. History and social studies, I'm not too bad at. They are definitely not a strong subject of mine though. I volunteered my services when a few friends asked me if I could help them with their essays. I just basically edited their essays and told them a few things on how they could do better. I even helped someone with a resume that they were sending around to a few jobs. My friends thank me for all that I did to help them and they would usually help me in subjects that I was falling behind in, like Math for example. I loved helping them learn with subjects they have a hard time with and I loved learning with them. I love teaching kids. All kids can are different in the way they learn. you need to be able to recognize those kids who are auditory learners, and hands on learners and be able to make a good balance of both so both kids may benefit.
