I have been working with children since I graduated from high school. I was a teachers assistant for the hearing impaired for 4 years and did some tutoring on the side for both deaf and hearing children. I attended college and received my bachelors degree in Psychology and then got a job as a teacher on an emergency credential and realized I loved teaching. When I graduated from college, I taught bilingual elementary kindergarten for 2 years on an emergency credential. I moved to Missouri in 1995 and since 1997 I have been a daycare director till recently. I enjoy seeing the pride and joy in each child when they learn something new. A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent graduate at the University of Missouri with degrees in International Studies and Spanish, I have obtained the indispensable ability to speak Spanish fluently. In addition to this skill, I have a TEFL certificate, which has involved me going to an adult literacy center for English, where I teach my own native language. I have experience in tutoring children in Spanish, and tutored a young girl, Kristine, in Spanish as a beginning speaker. Tutoring someone in Spanish is not only very fun but also more accessible.
