I graduated with a BS in history in 1996. After nearly seven years working for a large communications corporation I returned to college to get my teaching credentials. I completed a years student teaching and have taught middle school and high school at a local private school. At that school I often tutored students, offered help on my own time, and was the monitor of the school's study hall, Homework Club. Since 2009 I have taught adults at a local technical college. I am proud to say I have dedicated my life and time to students of ages 5-62.
While teaching high school students and adults I have helped many struggling learners. One of my main goals in all interactions with students I strive to build their confidence.
