To do this, when coaching Chemistry, I would have the student present a problem. Then, I'd say, well, let's figure this out together. And, truly, that is what we would do, step by step, by asking questions. What do we know? What do we need to figure out? I have four years experience as an Associate Instructor of Political Science and Political Philosophy at the college level. In this capacity I frequently tutored students individually, helping them to grasp complicated concepts. Many students struggled more with the basics of term paper writing than the material itself. I was able to help them improve their academic writing skills significantly.
