First Year Teacher with Extensive Knowledge in Education

I started working as a Redirect Aide in one of my local elementary schools. I worked with students who had emotional and behavioral disorders, special needs students and also regular education students in the elementary level. Second, I was a substitute teacher who took of classrooms in Early Childhood through 12th grade classrooms. Third, I completed my student teaching to obtain my teacher certification. It took place in a 4th grade Mathematics Classroom. And now I am currently a Substitute Teacher at my son's elementary school until I obtain a teaching position for the following school year.

A Little Bit About Me...

Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineer along with a minor in Mathematics. Previous experience as a high school algebra teaching was helpful. Math tutor responsible for helping high school students with their studies in mathematics with preparation for the math portion of standardized test (TAXS, TASP)
I feel that seeing their homework, and developing a routine to working out difficult problems is necessary. Then explaining the theories behind them from their text book. I am patient and can adjust to many different levels of learners.
