My teaching style is to assess each person's learning style and build my lessons around their individual style. Some people are more visual others are more hands on. I tailor my lessons and assistance to their individual needs. I have significant work experience as a controller for a large manufacturer with over 500 employees and $75 million in revenue. In addition I have experience as a CFO for a non profit with 30 employees. I have tutored numerous MBA students in accounting, finance, and management courses.

Although I have graduated, I still see myself as a student still learning. I take that with me when I teach fellow students. I try to make it an experience where we are all learning something together. This prevents me from just telling someone what to learn, instead it shows someone how to learn. During my years in high school I struggled. At one point my GPA fell below a 2.0. I learned how to bounce back by improving study habits and hard work and ended up graduating college with biology degree with a 4.0 GPA. I share this because I can relate to the struggles of school and I have the tools to help overcome that struggle. I want to share these tools with others. I believe teaching is becoming a facilitator of knowledge. I want to help facilitate each individual learning concepts in their own way. I believe in going through applications with the student until they can master the concepts on their own. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with the young adults and capitalizing on their curiosity about life.
