Most of my teaching experience is from one to one tutoring. I have tutored over 20 students and always received compliments regarding my reliability, punctuality, style and patience. I have tutored for students with ages raging from 14 to 25 years old and included algebra, geometry, calculus, physics, etc. I worked as an 8th grade math teacher for a Catholic School as well. I lectured algebra and geometry to 3 different groups of 50 to 55 students.
My one to one teaching style is tailored to adapt to the students learning style. However, my experience shows that keeping the student active during the learning process promotes a better learning. I think learing about your student is most important thing first and then teach them the way they learn quick, such as if they are visual learning or practical learner. that's what i do with my students, simply talk to them and ask what they think is the easy way to learn stuff for them and that's how I try to help them.
