I am very interactive with the student and I want them to see me as a friend. I for one do not like to be told what to do and how to do it, that never helps me learn. It is better when you feel you are working towards a common goal with your superior. As a microbiology student, I have taken rigorous courses in the sciences as well as math. The laboratory classes that accompany the science classes also provided first hand knowledge and the ability to write research papers and lab reports.
