My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : I worked as an office manager for 5 years and have 10 years experience with Microsoft Office. I am proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and experienced with Access.

My teaching philosophy starts out with essentialism which believes in a strong core curriculum and high academic standards. I believe it is important to have a strong foundation on which to build upon. After ensuring a strong foundation I tend to lean more towards progressivism. I believe students should be taught what is relevant today while becoming more independent learners, by utilizing problem solving skills and critical thinking. After closing my small business I want to indulge my passion as an educator. Directly out of college I accepted a position as Math teacher at a private school, teaching different levels of mathematics to 7th & 8th grade students. The courses touched on the basic concepts in subjects such as; Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics and Intro to Calculus.
