A Little Bit About Me...

I'm patient and recognize feelings when somebody doesn't understand. I really believe that understanding Maths or Physics is easy when the required background is present. It's like a chain where chapters are links required to continue to the next one. If you loose one it's hard to get other. That's why the first step is knowing the student's level. Once this is done I review what he is learning then I can make a plan to update him. When this level is reached the Student is ready to continue alone. Then follow up is important to asure that the person is able to become self contained. Main scope is the student will have a complete understanding of themes currently treated and those that will come in the future.

Although I lack experience teaching, I have a complete understanding of calculus and the physical sciences to offer. I have a BS in Biology and have 14 years experience in analytical chemistry. I have taken 2 years of calculus and would enjoy tutoring for it very much.
Calm and empathy, able to make the student arrive at a solution themselves through a logical thought process. More About This Tutor...

I believe that whenever I'm working with a student they have the capacity to learn and internalize the material. I believe that the student can learn the material. My method of mathematical and scientific instruction is based off the Polya style of teaching where the instructor guides their students by questions and reviewing the known information. Thus the student's questions drive the student towards the answer desired. I find great personal reward when working with students. After explaining information and working on helping a student understand the material there's sometimes that moment when you can watch the student go from not knowing what's going on to sudden understanding. Moments like that make my day.
