Desiring to continue to teach, I finished a Master's degree which gave me the endorsements to teach K-12 children with special needs. I love teaching. Whenever a friend needed help, I was always there to help them out with their school work. I am a good tutor and I'm patient and considerate. My goal is always to make sure that they understand the subject rather than just having them complete homework.
I have earned a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and working on my Master's degree in Engineering Management. Both degrees have helped me gain knowledge in math, science and in information technology. My grammatical skills are good due to writing a lot of research papers and lab reports. I believe that every child has a right to learn. I believe that, no matter what kind of problem or learning disability that student has, that he/she deserves to learn. It is the responsibility, not only of the teacher, but the parents, grandparents, siblings and community to help children receive the best education that they can. I believe that all children learn differently. Some learn through doing; some through listening; others are a combination. I teach to each child in the way that best helps them to learn.
While completing my masters in Special Education, I have learned creative ways to help children with special needs that I work with. I have designed and coordinated a Resource Center to help students with special needs learn and achieve at their level. I have also designed and implemented a school for children with special needs.
