I’m good with kids, high school and below I can break it down easily, I have good study habits, and I like to encourage people to better themselves educationally. My best subjects are in high school is math and chemistry. And I could teach anything middle school and below. I am a digital media student so I am also good with computers. While I was in high school, I took honors courses and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I tutored an 8th grade-9th grade boy in TCAPS preparation and helped him complete homework in Math (pre-algebra, algebra, and pre-geometry), Science (biology), and English. I tutored him for two years. After I graduated high school I was accepted to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I am currently in the spring semester of my sophomore year. I will be returning to Johnson City this summer and am available to tutor. I babysit two young boys currently, one of whom is 5 and I help him with kindergarten homework,such as learning words and reading. I am capable of helping with all ages. I can tutor most any subject through high school with the exception of advanced chemistry and calculus, and would need to be refreshed on pre-cal and algebra ll before being comfortable helping students with it. On the professional end, I was an accountant (CFO type) for a very long time. My most recent "job," though, was publishing a natural health magazine (4 years). I walked away from it all late summer 2011 to work my spiritual path and providing patient and heart-centered tutoring to elementary children works well with this path.
