A Little Bit About Me...

I have been employed as a Speech Language Pathologist in public school settings since 1989. I have worked with preschool through 12th grade. I enjoy working with all children, especially elementary. I believe in a multi facet teaching style. Children learn by many different ways. Some children learn by audio, visual, or kinetic. So, I would teach in a style that suited by the student's needs. A Little Bit About Me...

I presently teach at a K-12 private school for students with learning differences. I have taught students in all grades, K-12. This year, I have been a remediation teacher in reading (decoding), math, and writing. In math, I am comfortable teaching through geometry. I have 10 plus years teaching students with dyslexia and other reading deficits with their decoding and spelling skills. Through programs that implement Orton-Gillingham approaches, I have found great success.
Teaching is not a job for me, it is what defines me. I have been teaching for over 13 years and still desire to do nothing else.
