I have a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies where my areas of emphasis were Spanish, History and Family Studies. I do not have a lot of teaching/tutoring experience, but I am looking forward to expanding that type of work. I firmly believe that if a subject seems incomprehensible, nine times out of ten it is the professor and NOT the intelligence of the student. Likewise, I believe lack of effort or motivation also play a significant roll when a student performs poorly. I recently graduated from Northeastern University with my BA in Pscyhology and my MAT in Elementary Education. I have always wanted to be a teacher. From the time I was in high school I worked to have as much experience working with children as I could. My full year of student teaching was fulfilled at Josiah Quincy Elementary in downtown Boston.
