I believe that in order to truly learn a language you must practice and be thrown into the language. I adjust my teaching style based on your level. If someone is more advanced in the language, I may do completely voice off in order to insure the signing is the most accurate. I am willing (if student wants) to occasionally have our meetings at Deaf events to gain more practice. For beginners I will start from the basics and work our way up. I am a licensed Sign Language Interpreter living in the Charlotte area. Professionally, I have around 3 years experience in the school systems as well as interpreting in the community. I have traveled and moved to several states for assignments. I have lead several sign clubs to teach students sign language.
