Personality plays a big part in the teaching process. It is important for the teacher to remain positive and encouraging. Each student will be motivated by different things and the teacher must recognize that. In a group atmosphere (classroom) it's important to have structure, an agenda, while at the same time ensuring that each student knows that the teacher's main goal is to help them learn.
