My work experience in industry and my intensive graduate academic training well positioned me for college level teaching. I taught a variety of management and finance courses including Introduction to Management, International Finance, International Management, Strategic Planning, Procurement, Accounting, and Systems Development as a full-time Assistant Professor at Merrimack College until I started a family and then taught part-time for many years. After moving to Rhode Island, I taught at both Providence College and Bryant University as an adjunct lecturer. I love working with children of all ages. Children can learn very fast by talking, playing games and if properly taught they can remember in the long term. I have worked most of my adult life in education or journalism, and I was able to combine my two passions as a journalism professor at the college level for several years. I am currently a visiting lecturer in media studies at Bridgewater State College and a substitute teacher in local schools. I have taught social studies, business and typing in secondary schools.
