I teach writing / grammar students based on their level of understanding vocabulary. Learning how to figure out the meaning of vocabulary words is key in successful writing. Word origin and grammar usuage is how a student builds their writing skills! Learning a wide range of vocabulary words (synonyms, antonyms, metaphors...etc.) gives the student more confidence and exercises the brain.

A Little Bit About Me...

I once was called an “eternal pupil” by a fellow teacher; it is easy to see why. After receiving my BS in Business Education I immediately returned to college to earn my MS in Business Education. Since receiving my masters I have completed 127 additional college hours which certified me to teach journalism, social studies, English, computers, and humanities at both middle and the high school levels. Traveling extensively through many nations has enhanced my teaching of all social studies subjects as well as customs around the world. A Little Bit About Me...

After obtaining a Masters of Science with a Minor in Education, teaching has become my life pursuit. Even when working for a large Biotech firm, I have tutored for one year in public schools during my lunch hour. As the volunteer leader for our 500 person campus, I am proud to say I spear-pointed the adoption of our nearby high-needs school.
