Jonathan V - Alsip, IL 60803 (32.2 mi) - ASVAB Tutor - $44.50/hr.
Generally, I'm a constructivist, and I believe the best method of tutoring is providing a completely individuated scaffold for any student. While I was raised in old-school education, I believe that some of the newer techniques of education through hands-on, the use of digital technology, and through writing across the curriculum are effective for many students. I have two bachelor degrees, one in computer science, the other in mathematics with a type 09 cert (6-12). I belong to Mensa and the NCTM, and have excellent English and decent Spanish speaking and writing skills. I have taught and tutored in mathematics and computer science for quite awhile, and I earned a 95% on my PSAT and a 32 on my ACT.

I communicate well with all ages and can create a realtionship that possess trust with anyone. I value the education. I am humbly thankful that I have the ability to teach and understand math. I love math. It fascinates me and I am excited to see the results in the people once they understand it too. When I attended Malcolm X College, my first class was a math class. I excelled in the class with an A and was asked by the professor to become a teaxchers assistant in Basic Math and Algebra. After completing my next level Math(College Algebra) I received an A and continued to tutor his students. It was then I began Tammies Tutorial Service. I tutored all ages in Basic Math and Algebra.
