A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored fellow classmates in the past throughtout middle school and high school. Although I am not certified to teach, I have taken quite a few teaching curriculum courses while attending North Carolina State University. I have the ability to teach and accomodate different learning styles with various age groups from the Pre-K level to high school ranging from elementary students to adults. However I provided assistance to the teachers and mentored the children that had potential, but didn't have the extra push in life to motivate them to be more. I worked at Billie Hardee Home for Boys in Darlington, SC as a volunteer I provided teen age boys the assistance in tutoring them with math, reading, and science. My teaching style is very hands on. I try to make skills applicable to student's lives, which helps them internalize the information.
