Calculus I is one of my top subjects!

For more than 20 years I have been making math come alive for my students. I have taught both at the high school level and the college level and worked one-on-one with my students in and out of the classroom. My curriculum experiences ranges through Algebra 1 to Calculus 2 and Statistics. In High School, I have been an AP Calculus and AP Statistics teacher for 15 years.

I began working as a Math Tutor in the Spring of 2012. I tutored three students through Club Z Tutoring, a publicly-funded tutoring organization. I also tutored a student in Pre-Calculus during the same time period. This student was introduced to me through Allison Neal, head of a private tutoring agency. My comments on tutoring Calculus I : I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Statistics and have experience teaching undergraduates and graduates.

My diverse skills and experience in mathematics, statistics, and computer programming should be advantageous in this circumstance. A Little Bit About Me...

I always do my best to be kind and understanding to every student I have. I know that everyone has different learning speeds and different proficiencies, so I always try to be accommodating of that.
