After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia in 2000, I went on to study Poetry with renowned poets Bill Knott and John Skoyles at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon finishing my thesis I moved to Oklahoma to be close to my family, where I continued pursuing my literary interests by volunteering my services to read for international literary journal Nimrod, published out of the University of Tulsa. As a long-time student, I understand that a large part of a student's education occurs inside and outside the classroom, much of which is beneficial in a discussion format. I currently hold two undergraduate degrees in English, with emphases in literature and grammar, and two graduate degrees in Linguistics with an emphasis in English meaning.
