Retired Elementary Teacher- 25 years experience!

I have a wonderful relationship with my students. I am highly motivating and want my students to have fun while learning. In addition, my true love and concern for children is sensed by my students and they genuinely love me. Therefore, they will please me and do their best work to make me feel proud. I retired from teaching due to health reasons and cannot physically meet the demands of full time class room teaching. I started in the Master of Education in the Teaching Arts at Mississippi College this past January and recieved by Class A Teacher's License in June of this year. I am certified to teach grades 4-8 in all four of the major subjects: math, science, social studies and language. I have taught 1st grade for 10 years and 4th grade for the last 8 years. I have done after-school tutoring for 3rd-5th graders for over 10 years. Reading is my specialty but I am able to teach all subjects. I have experience with ADD and 504 children along with regular education students.
