Individualized learning/teaching for optimal comprehension

I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I feel that young students learn best when they can physically learn, such as through blocks/puzzles/interactive learning devices and other similar approaches. I try to let the student use their hands as much as I can to aid in their learning process. I believe in a play-based approach to teaching new concepts. My approach to teaching is to generate excitement over learning, which I believe helps cement ideas in young children’s heads.
