Psychology Professor/Reading Specialist

Over 25 years of teaching experience (all grade levels ~ from preschool to university graduate level courses). Since I have entered the teaching profession I have worked with children of all elementary levels. This experience has provided me with the tools to work with all types of children from grades K-5. Since I have graduated from IUP I have worked primarily in an urban setting which has afforded me the opportunity to work with children of various backgrounds from affluent to homeless. For just over a decade I have been involved in some form of peer education or mentoring. As a senior in high school, I tutored students in mathematics and science. As an ACS Certified Chemist, I have been exposed to upper level mathematics, chemistry and physics, but am still required to use writings skills in preparing various reports and papers.
