I am a college graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education, a major in science and minor in English. I have obtained 22 credits of my masters degree in Teacher Leadership for School Improvement and am 1 course away from my Reading Endorsement. I am also ESOL certified. I am a certified teacher and experienced tutor. Never stop pushing yourself to learn

I can teach in any style that suits the student. I am flexible with whatever excels the students learning the most.
I have taught a large array of children and adults, anywhere from a 2nd grader struggling with reading to adult Burmese refugees. I have the patience and flexibility to successfully work with anyone. I started tutoring when I was around the age of 13. I taught a young Korean girl English, where I would have to create my own lesson plans. As a substitute teacher for the past three years, I have experiencing teaching nearly every academic subject. I am a published playwright and have sold over fifteen short scripts for religious one-acts to the Nashville-based Belden Street Music Company. My writing and composition skills are particularly strong, my understanding of grammar is excellent and I have worked extensively in high school English/writing classes. I also held a long term substitute assignment in an Air Force Junior ROTC program in which I taught leadership skills and character building.
